THIS IS A MUST SEE and TASTE!

This is a historic landmark and a must stop for anyone who is passing through the area. The sandwich shop in the back with their freshly made hoagie subs is a huge hit. We take our kids there at least twice a month just to take a step back in time and get a bottle of soda. They carry a nice selection of baked goods from several Amish and Mennonite bakeries nearby.

The store sells a little of everything, but is worth the stop if only for a walk through simpler times.

"An old fashioned general store with the sloping hardwood floors to prove decades of use. Most locals stop here for deli needs or a quick lunch of hoagie and chips. They serve hand dipped ice cream also. It's nearly always busy, and, if you are a tourist, you will most likely see Amish customers. Don't take their picture. Buy a whoopie pie or a moon pie and be glad you don't live here or you'd gain 10 pounds in the first two weeks."

White Hall Store is a one-of-a-kind country store.

"I have many good memories of buying everything from dried beef to maple nut goodie there!"
